I just turned 24 and I work hard and long for my credit score to get it to a 791. At anytime someone can steal my I.D and then I’m left making tunnel phone calls through the state system to get my identity back. Is this a class issue where only those who can afford a lawyer gets their life back? Should Americans be more worried about it?

your right they should be more focused on things like that. I know for women if they are victims of domestic abuse they can get a new social in most cases. men would have to be near death to get that privilage since the majority of scammers are men. My score is not as immpressive as yours but like you I work hard to keep it high. Here’s some tips for those reading
1. never give out personal info over the phone
2. when talking to service agents only reviel last 4 of social (thats the only thing they can see as well)
3. stay away from ordering online
4. order only from secured sites 128bit or higher (paypal doesn’t even have that and they are supposed to be the safest)
5. If any problems occur start back at 1
Listen, I work for a company and we have forensic accountants who completely restore our customer’s identity. We are the only company who does it for you, with 30-60 days. I have it and I get alerts if anything hits my credit and if not, then I get a monthly letter saying everything is okay. If you want to look at this, let me know and I will send you information. I can see you are worried and should be and this informatioal video might be able to help! Oh, and you can afford a lawyer, I can show you that too!
