If you’re worried about identity theft, there are ways you can protect yourself. And if you know the signs, you can stop identity theft sooner. One of the best ways to protect your identity is to order your credit report annually from annualcreditreport.com.
@Minan3 I don’t have a video that specifically helps guard you against your parents stealing your identity. But relatives are the #1 identity theft scam artists, mostly because they have enough of your personal finance information to be dangerous. If you believe your parents are stealing your identity, you can contact the credit reporting bureaus and pull a copy of your credit history. When you turn 18, you can file a police report and work with the CRBs to clean up your credit. Good luck.Ilyce
