The credit bureau makes money off selling statistics and info to marketers (those credit card offers, etc.) Your credit is not accessible to anyone, but any type of ‘credit-related’ entity can. Hence, a gateway is open for hackers (Joe Bloe claims to be from BofA, e.g.) I froze my credit so creditors couldn’t see I was actually paying my bills. hahahah

All good advice! Unfortunately, it has been shown in studies that convenience outweighs security. Yes, paying with cash is considered inconvenient compared to a card and paying ahead and budgeting is so inconvenient (ha ha). There was a great Sat Night Live skit about this, Dont buy stuff you cant afford.

about…don’t buy on credit….if you don’t have the cash for it…do without it….people seem to forget that all we really need are
air…water….food…shelter from the elements …and LOVE
smile…..oh yeah and FREEDOM …another forgotten ideology.

This is theft by laws passed to ues you as a catilist to have you involved in their use of your information. If they can not keep your information safe with out your freezing your own account what are they doing with your information in the 1st place? ID theft is a load of tripe! when we have to give permission to credit company’s to use or freeze our information don’t you think somone needs to find out why?

No, you can continue to use your credit cards as usual. A credit freeze will just prevent anyone from accessing your credit report; which will stop most new lines of credit (e.g.., new credit cards) from being issued.

verizon turn my account over to Afini , can i sue verizon because this bill was incorrect Afini sent me a bill showing proof that i had a bill the bill listed 10 pages , they only sent me 7 pages of the bill . and what funny I did not live at the adress .
do I have to pay this bill , somebody please answer my question .
