Or, it would be the police in the town where it is occurring, but your locals will work in concert with them. The FBI will not take a report from you on this nor will they investigate it UNLESS several banks are involved and it becomes an interstate (several state crime) and the FDIC gets involved and a crime is committed against a bank using your identity. Call the big three bureaus and have them put a block on your credit so NO ONE can use your identity to obtain more credit. Stay in touch with your local police and see what they are doing.
