None of them were Sophos employees, or related to Sophos employees!

We filmed it in a different city than one where Sophos has an office, by the way. :)

Are you in the US? Just take the proper documents (birth certificate and drivers license) to a passport acceptance agency in your area and fill out an application. You will also need two passport photos.

Having had your identity stolen shouldn't affect it, unless the other person got a passport in your name and ss#. Do you have a reason to think that your identity was stolen? If you haven't gotten something weird, like a letter from the IRS asking you to pay taxes on your job 1000 miles from where you live, or turndowns for credit because they say you have accounts that you don't have, you're probably OK.

You can request a copy of your credit report for free by going to annualcreditreport.com - if nothing unexplainable shows up there, quit worrying.

I went to see Spiderman 3 at the theater. (great movie) I used my credit card to purchase the tickets and concessions (small popcorn & large pop $8.00). The "chronologically advanced" ticket lady didn't ask for I.D. but the teenager serving me my snacks did.

Like Jim F said, "There are some services out that will [help] protect you." The one I use is the Identity Theft Shield through Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. Take a look at

Credit card fraud and Identity theft are charges that go hand in hand. The district attorney's office may add and delete charges at anytime. The second charge was just applicable to the offense committed. I can't tell you if you will or will not go to jail. The length of a jail sentence is dependant on ones previous criminal record. I would not sweat it. Relax let your lawyer do some work. Good luck and stay out of trouble!

Prove that she was not living at that address at the time the phone account was made. That should be simple enough. She can dispute the charges.

My sister did the same thing I told her if she didn't pay for the stuff she ordered I was going to call the police on her fortunately she paid. If I were you I would tell her what you just read and if she doesn't do what you say then contact you Attourney Generals Office and tell them what she is doing and do this in both states. They will do an investigation and find that she is stealing from you and more than likely she will have charges put up against her for fraud. Make sure you call the police right away, or you will be the one that pays for her BS.. Then don't have nothing to do with her again well for at least awhile.. Hope this helped and do remember my stars.

Yup, very scary. I have the same statement on the back of my cards and get asked about 5% of the time. I actually thank those few for checking.

Another thing you can do to help protect yourself. You can go to the credit report agencies and place a hold (I can't remember exactly what it's called) on your credit. What it does is, whenever you (or bad guy) applies for credit, the credit agency calls you at a number you supplied and asks if you are requesting credit and Xmart. If it's you, then you say yes, otherwise, they won't allow the credit line to take effect and it will keep bad guy from using your ID.

This actually worked for me when I went to a major electronic retailer. They told me there was a hold on my credit. Not more than 5 minutes later one of the credit bureas called and checked with me. I've since let it run out cause I keep forgetting to update it. I think it's only good for 2 years, then you have to call them again.

How long do you think they will stay in business with this policy? Just go someplace else. And tell them the reason.
